Job Overview:
The Center Manager is responsible for center management with a focus on sales performance. Performance will be measured on sales to goal, lead to member conversion and consumer and employee delight. The Center Manager is responsible for ensuring their center meets the highest standards of service, operational excellence and professionalism.
This position is Exempt and reports to the Area Supervisor. The Center Manager has direct responsibility for the Assistant Sales Manager and the Senior Counselor.
Job Duties:
- Meet or exceed center sales and personal budgets.
- Ensure all operating systems are properly deployed and optimized. Ensure timely reporting of all key performance indicators.
- Lead weekly sales meetings with center staff to ensure goal achievement.
- Schedule staff to maximize coverage and optimize sales.
- Conduct Weight Loss and Health Profiles with prospective members, assessing and crafting personalized weight loss programs to optimize closures.
- Consistently and constantly refine sales skills.
- Maximize consumer referrals to originate new sales.
- Develop and originate off site sales.
- Rank and rate sales staff, identify high performers, deliver performance feedback and communicate career paths.
- Coach staff on performance and professional development, holding all employees to the highest standards of operational excellence.
• Deliver corrective action and coaching to employees as needed in conjunction with HR pursuant to the high standards of professionalism and performance.
- Implement and foster a culture of consumer delight through an empowered and educated staff that pays attention to every detail.

- Any other duties as assigned by management.
Experience and Education Requirements:
• Bachelors degree with three (3) years sales experience or Associates degree with five (5) years of sales experience.
• Exceptional sales, commitment to customer service and communication skills both over the phone and face-to-face.
• Performance based sales experience in a retail commission environment preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience in weight loss, weight management and health club industries preferred.
• Experience selling $1,000+.
