Chemical Operator
Aerotek is hiring for a chemical batch mixer at a local Richmond chemical manufacturer. Essential functions include the efficient operation of the specialty chemicals plant, so previous experience batch mixing is required
Candidates will be working with powdered chemicals used in the polymer making process Continuously operate plant machinery and equipment as necessary, ability to do repetitive tasks and remain in a stationary position for an extended period. Must dump 10kilo bags and up into containers, utilize basic math skills and track and monitor plant data and follow procedures. Will climb ladders, must be willing to operate forklift, and other manual duties lifting up to 50 lbs. Ty-vec suits and masks are often times required
