Position: Cloud Intelligence Infrastructure Manager Location: Northern, VA Salary: $100k - $105 plus bonus Basic Function:The Manager, Cloud Intelligence Infrastructure is responsible for ensuring the Cloud Intelligence environment is available for all customers and is performing in an efficient manner. The Manager must develop and deploy tools, processes, and procedures to provide metrics that will allow quick identification and resolution of issues. The Manager will work across various organizational units to identify and share best practices, consolidate tool offerings, and leverage operational manpower. The Manager will work with other Cloud Intelligence subject matter experts to ensure a secure, efficient and high performing environment for customers. Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Review the design of all Cloud Intelligence infrastructure and application architectures to assess operational risk and performance Review and approve all proposed changes to the Cloud Intelligence production infrastructure in order to maintain operational integrity Implementation of monitoring environment(s) to provide real time visibility into the operation of the Cloud Intelligence platform Implementation and management of a change control process to ensure only approved changes are implemented into the Cloud Intelligence production environment Development and deployment of processes and procedures to manage the day-to-day operation of the Cloud Intelligence platform Work with Technical Support to develop and administer problem resolution processes and procedures for the Cloud Intelligence platform Plan the patching and upgrades for the Cloud Intelligence environment to minimize impact to our customers Work with technical staff to implement appropriate security controls Pro-actively plan data center capacity expansions Perform regular inventories of Cloud Intelligence datacenter equipment Manage preventative maintenance contracts for critical Cloud Intelligence computer and telecommunications systems Job Requirements: BA / BS required (in Computer Science or IT related fields) 7+ years of experience in information technology, with at least 2 years in a data center or technical operations leadership role Must have experience in the operation of heavily virtualized technical environments Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment Ability to work across departmental boundaries to mobilize resources Ability to develop and manage budgets and service levels
