Position Overview The Collection Specialist will be responsible for effectively collecting payment from all assigned accounts, working with the AR and Billing Departments and field personnel to resolve customer conflicts resulting in resolution and excellent customer service while always maintaining professionalism and high quality Business to Business support. In addition, this person may need to provide routine reports to our internal or external customers and work on special projects as assigned. Key Job Responsibilities (Weight %) Collections (70%) Provide Collection efforts to fully support the assigned accounts. Analyze and administer customer billing inquiries, disputes, adjustments, and collections as necessary. Perform consolidated account summaries to include pulling data from multiple locations and consolidation reporting. Handle sensitive financial information from multiple offices. Record account details and information. Adjust online accounts as required. Create formatted billing for the customers. Add information to existing databases as necessary. Company Support (20 %) Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the various PSAV departments and team members. Provide outstanding customer service and responsiveness to all inquiries. Project a positive image of the company to internal and external contacts. Reporting (5%) Provide routine or specific reporting to meet customer requests, contracted requirements or internal activity/revenue reporting. Special Projects (5%) Projects include targeted collection efforts, month end tasks and other duties as assigned. Required Skills
* 3-5 years experience with specialized collections, with business to business experience preferred. * Minimum of a high school diploma is required. * Reporting, typing, research, reconciliations, analytical skills, ability to read, ability to concentrate and the ability to work with numbers. * Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. * This position requires effective verbal and written communication skills and enhanced attention to detail and follow through for reporting requirements.
