This Collections Sr. Specialist job is in the transportation industry and is primarily responsible for the following responsibilities:
· Managing a team of collectors and customer service representatives in a corporate call center
· Surety Bonds and Bankruptcy Management
· Accountable for reducing DSO
· Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
· Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with various departments.
Essential Functions
· Weekly and monthly reporting to upper management
· Monthly team meetings and employee coaching and development
· Monthly Delinquency notices and Call Campaigns
· Escalation point of contact
· Manage customers on the service interruption and shutdown report
· Reconcile customer disputes
· Provide excellent & considerate customer service
· Meet defined department goals and activity metrics
Required Skills
· 3-5 years corporate call center experience
· Business or Accounting degree preferred
· Intermediate Excel skills
· Hands on Collections and AR knowledge
· Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
· Commitment to excellent customer service
· Strong written and verbal communication abilities
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
