An exciting opportunity had opened up for a Chief Operating Officer to joint the Senior Management Team of a leading non-profit real estate development, property management, and architectural firm in CA. This is anExecutive level position and individuals who have had the required experience with different specific titles will be considered.(Vice President of Operations, VP of Operations, Director of Operations, etc.)
Job Description * Implement and manage the Strategic work plans of the organization * Coordinate all projects and activities of each division, including property management, real estate development, architecture, etc. * Streamline cross-divisional processes and systems to achieve maximize the operational performance * Act a mentor to staff through use of direct reports * Ensure project commitment and performance goals are upheld * Work directly with the President to promote overall growth and development within the organization * Act the Senior Executive Leader in the CEO's absence * Participate in board and relevant committee meetings * Oversee the implementation of human resources practices and policies
All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration * Bachelor's Degree in urban planning, real estate, business or a related field(Masters highly preferred) * At least 8 years experience of Executive/Senior Management Experience in theaffordable housing and community development fields * A strong background withproperty management and real estate development,(experience with architecture is highly preferred) * Financial planning and fiscal management experience * A firm grasp of both non-profit and for profit business models * Knowledge of government relations and the planning, land usage, and housing/community development aspects of local government * Refined facilitation and communication skills * Strong staff development and management skills * Familiar with organizational systems * Extensive Experience leading and working with senior managers
