Our client, a dynamic oil and gas company, seeks a proven and experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist. The ideal candidate will provide regulatory compliance support and coordination among multiple departments and disciplines such as Land, Operations and Geology, as well as, federal and state regulatory agencies. Major Duties and Responsibilities (ranked in priority) 1. Coordinate with engineers, geologists and surveyors to obtain plats drawn for proposed drilling locations 2. File permit applications, amend permit applications and other related forms for submission to regulatory agencies of well drilling completions and/or plugging 3. Coordinate with field personnel to obtain test information for completion reports 4. Monitors operating activities and advises local management regarding relevant current or pending regulations 5. Respond to regulatory agency letters, inquiries and questions 6. Submit check requests for municipality and regulatory permitting fees 7. Perform related duties as assigned
