Our client, a Financial Services company based in Winnipeg has an immediate need for a Compliance Specialist. Reporting to the Manager of Compliance, the Compliance Specialist will be responsible for the development and implementation of compliance related policies and procedures, investigation programs and audits, identification of securities compliance issues and supervision of branch audits and complaint resolutions. The Compliance Specialist will also be responsible for providing support to managers and investment staff in the field, including supervision and training of new staff and providing guidance and advice to managers and senior staff. This position, will involve some travel.
