Job Description
•Develop and deploy the site Contamination Control Master Plan (CCMP) for environmental and product bioburden to help organize and streamline all of the required contamination control elements and to mitigate the risks to product. •Assists in troubleshooting and solving bioburden issues within the facility by applying critical problem solving tools to improve negative trends. •Manage the activities of a section or department in the Quality organization with responsibility for results in terms of product quality, performance and safety. In some instances this manager may be responsible for a functional area and may not have subordinates. •Implements the quality systems procedures and manages compliance in a section or department. Provides suggestions from a GMP standpoint to improve and prevent potential areas of microbial contamination. •Understands and assures conformance to regulations in a section or department. Interfaces with regulators during regulatory inspections. •May participate in or manage quality assessments of internal operations and suppliers to analyze compliance and assess risk. •Interacts and influences practices in the facility in order to improve GMP compliance from a contamination control standpoint. •Identifies and manages continuous improvement projects with the objective of achieving quality, reliability and cost improvements. •Manages the coaching, training and development of subordinates, if applicable.
Job Requirements 1. Strong proved leader that has the ability to bring a team together and solve problems in a timely manner.
2. Thorough knowledge of applicable procedures, specifications, regulations and standards.
3. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
4. Ability to manage/supervise a team of employees.
5. Good communication and leadership skills.
6. Good interpersonal/communication/influencing/negotiation skills. Very strong ability to influence and obtain change in an organization
7. Good project management skills.
8. BS in Science or Engineering, 7+ years experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field which should include 1-2 years of supervisory experience. Relevant experience in microbiology required.
9. Black Belt or Green Belt Six Sigma DMAIC certified or Lean Green Belt Certified.
