Position Description This position is responsible for the supervision and professional development of accounting staff personnel and the development and maintenance of proper accounting control procedures designed to safeguard the company?s assets and ensure compliance with all GAAP and various tax regulations. Interact with all levels of SBU and senior management, assisting and participating in decision making, providing consultation, financial and analytical information and advice. This position plays a key support role to various levels of SBU management and owners, providing information used in decisions that could have a material impact on profits, etc. (i.e.; financial statements, operational and financial analysis/modeling, forecast/plans/budgets, etc.)
Position Requirements * Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance. * 10 years or more of progressive management accounting experience, part of which may be waived if employee has an advanced certification (CPA or CMA) and/or MBA. An advanced degree or certification is desirable. * Experience and knowledge of advanced analytical methods, software applications & solutions, and budgeting and planning required. * Good interpersonal and communication skills. * Prior supervisory experience preferred.
