You will supervise a 15-20 person accounting staff reporting to the CFO. You will motivate, manage and ensure staff training. Oversee, review and approve the preparation of financial and statistical reports and periodic financial statements. Oversee all facets associates with third party billing maximizing revenue and minimizing receivables. Oversee , review and approve the generation and posting of periodic grant billing. Oversee, review and approve the maintenance of sub journals and source documentation. Develop and monitor monthly closing rsee and main cash balances. Prepare and utilize cash flow projections. Handle cost allocation. Review contracts for compliance. Prepare written reports on compliance activities. Oversee and coordinate the budget. Handle other accounting functions as assigned. This is a newly created position. This position will pay mid 70's - lo 80's. Requirements: BS degree in accounting or related field.7+ years of accounting experience. 5+ years in a supervisory role withhealthcareincluding experience with 3rd party medical billing and receivables. Must have advanced computer skills including spreadsheet, database and report writing. Strong communication skills required.
