Cote, Pulitzer & Alvarez has partnered with anupscale financial planning boutique firm in Metrowest in their search for a corporate controller with a strong tax background.
In this dynamic role, our client is seeking an accounting professional to provide corporate accounting services. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable, payroll, commissions, reconciling accounts on a monthly basis, creating corporate financial reports, filing our corporate tax return, and submitting corporate estimated tax payments. Additionally, as part of their financial planning, our clientprepares tax returns for nearly two hundred clients that include individual, trust, and small business returns. Tax planning plays an important role year round. As a result, the corporate controller should have recent and progressive tax experience.
Ideal candidate will possess: * BA or BS preferably in Accounting or Finance, with an advanced degree or designation as a major advantage (i.e. CPA, MBA, MST etc). * Three or more years experience. * Excellent knowledge and communication of tax preparation and planning. * Strong System skills If interested in hearing more about this opportunity, please contact a Senior Consultant at Cote, Pulitzer & Alvarez at .
