Job Description :
McKonly & Asbury's Professional Placement Group is currently assisting a manufacturing client in search of a Corporate Controller with a minimum of 8 - 12 years experience with demonstrated progression in career growth. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. A Master's degree in Business Administration or Accounting and Finance is desirable. CPA preferred.
This role will report directly to the CFO. The successful candidate will be required to manage the directing, coordinating, maintaining, and controlling of the accounting system to ensure it properly reflects the financial position of the company. To name a few, this role will supervise and oversee: the development and implementation of financial information and control systems, including general ledger, budgeting, cost allocation, and other subsystems; preparation of daily, monthly, annual, and other periodic financial statements and reports; preparation and filling of payroll taxes, tracks, and reports fringe benefit tax data; preparation and control of operational budgets; will also prepare and monitor the accounting department budget and business plan. This role takes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with company personnel, departments, and management; will also interface with the IT department in the development and implementation of efficient systems consistent with new software applications.
