Our client, a corporation with it's head office located in Northern Canada involved in various industries has an immediate need for a Corporate Controller. Reporting to the President, the Corporate Controller will be responsible for the management of all accounting & finance functions for the corporation's group of companies. The Corporate Controller will be responsible for financial statements, preparation and analysis of financial information, and preparation of quarterly and year-end financial statements. In addition, the Corporate Controller will be responsible for the preparation & analysis of the annual budget and long range plans, cash management and will provide sound financial and business advice to management on a wide variety of financial matters. The Corporate Controller will also be responsible for management of internal controls, and the supervision of a small accounting and administrative staff.

Experience: As the ideal candidate you will possess a professional accounting designation (CA, CGA or CMA), or near completion of a professional accounting program with a approximately 5 years experience in a similar role. You are outgoing, self motivated with the ability to work autonomously and possess excellent management skills and superior oral & written communication skills.
