Consolidated Safety Services (CSS) is a national company, headquartered in the metro Washington, DC-area, that helps government and commercial clients identify and resolve safety, health, security, and environmental issues. CSS is seeking a full-time Data Architect. Position is located in Silver Spring, MD.

Consolidated Safety Services (CSS) is a national company, headquartered in the metro Washington, DC-area, that helps government and commercial clients identify and resolve safety, health, security, and environmental issues. CSS is seeking a full-time Data Architect. Position is located in Silver Spring, MD.
Responsibilities: • Designs and Develops Data Architectures for the various programs within OST • Designs and builds relational databases. • Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database. • Cleans and maintains the database by removing and deleting old data • Be able to design and develop Complex Databases, Data Warehouses and Multidimensional Databases. • Conducts data management through the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) efforts • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals • Ability to work with disparate user and technical groups to design and implemented an integrated system architecture Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 4-6 years of relevant experience • Must be an expert with the Oracle 8 database environment • Experience in the environmental sciences and related data management preferred
