DataCenter Construction Project Manager - Muscat, Oman
Responsibilities: · Plan and organize a project. · Put together Project plans â?? size up, costs, scheduling , timeline. · Work with Business Development Team to respond to RFPs. · Maintain liaison with primary client and A/E to facilitate construction activities. · Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policies. Put these in clear concise work statement for the field. · Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the companyâ??s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client. · Represent the company in project meetings. · Maintain all logs required to track the progress of the project. · Work autonomously in a newly established location.
Requirements: · Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects with a design / build firm. · Minimum of 7-10 years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry. · Client Facing /Client relationship / Client Management skills. · Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects. · Business Development experience; previous experience creating RFPs. · Solid Project management experience. · Effective Communicator â?? emails, phone and face to face. · Ability to work independently. · Computer savvy: MS Project, AutoCAD a plus.
