Description:This position is for a junior/mid level configuration manager/help desk analyst for the Applications Integration and Business Intelligence Division's Data Warehouse Team. TheData Warehouse Configuration ManagementTeam provides traceability of all software work products in support of atomic and aggregate data marts for theWarehouse Analytical Reporting System (WARS). The help desk function supports the end user community from user accounts through product support.

The Configuration Manager's tasks include:

? Maintain version control of all software work products and documentation
? Track all change requests through the software lifecycle
? Maintain and control all approved change requests using StarTeam and ensure work files are linked to appropriate change requests
? Performconfiguration managementanddata managementreview and approval of all change requests at entry into StarTeam
? Coordinate with functional analysts to review change request requirements
? Review verified/fixed change requests
? Hold pre-production meetings for change requests prior to migration to Production
? Label and build software releases for implementation of change requests to Production
? Notify Team Leads of changes to transactional systems that impact Data Warehouse Team change requests
? Work with database administrators to provide primary and backup Production support functions for software deployment, software failure and notification and backup and recovery
? Refreshtest dataas needed to support testing
? Provide change request development guidelines for the Data Warehouse Team
? Develop and test data fixes to Production data to support functional and reporting requirements as needed
? Review Informatica upgrades prior to Production implementation
? Test and evaluate database upgrades
? Maintain StarTeam access for Data Warehouse Team members
? GenerateHEAT ticketsfor system administration issues
? Generate change request status, data load, and Production metrics reports
? Participate in weekly MIS Team meetings
? Maintain Production run schedules
? RunSQL scriptsas needed and develop SQL and Kornshell scripts for Production Support
? Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled jobs and report incidents for analysis
? Coordinate with database and system administrators as needed for storage requirements to support Data Warehouse configuration management
? Archive files and folders as needed

The Help Desk Analyst tasks include
? Creation and maintenance of user accounts
? Assisting end users with system issues
? Development of training materials
? Review of documentation packages

Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. 0-2 years of directly related computer systems analysis and/or programming experience.

? 1-4 years experience performing configuration management for a medium to large software development team
? 1 + year(s) Oracle database experience
? 1+ year(s) SQL experience
? 1+ year(s) experience in configuration management using StarTeam or a similar configuration management tool

Desirable qualifications:
? Experience with the use of Informatica and Business Objects
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
? Exemplary time management skills
? Proficient in Project ManagementSecurity Requirements:

Candidate should have or be able to obtain a USSECRET clearanceand a favorably adjudicated background investigation. Interim clearance to start.
