TEKsystems has partnered with a local company in RTP, NC for a long term contract with a financial company. They are growing rapidly and seeking to hire additional QA resources. In addition to strong testing and SQL knowledge they are seeking the following:
**Business Intelligence/Data warehouse QA: Testing experience as well as ETL, Informatica or equivalent tool, and SQL Server. **Business Intelligence Analytics/Models QA: Experience testing in addition to working with any Rules Models (predicative analytics or Heuristics). As well as experience in investigative skills in aggregate data, data analysis/correlation/patterning on database functions, web services, xml, .net, or java.
-In-depth knowledge of Test Planning, Test Case Specification, and Test Procedure Development. -Proven ability to work independently and pro-actively with sense of business and technical motivation. -Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Experience testing ETL projects is a plus. -Experience in testing Linux-based applications. -Experience in testing applications on a Citrix environment. -Experience in maintaining Virtual Machine testing environments. -Experience in automated testing. -Experience testing Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments. -Expertise with all phases and stages of software testing (Functional, System, Integration, Data Validation, User Acceptance, Scalability, Performance, Stress, and Load). -Experience in the data analytics discipline (especially with respect to rules models, sim
