Title: Deployed Facilities Officer/Project Manager, Senior Location: United States-Maryland-Annapolis Junction Other Locations:
Key Role: Coordinate and oversee the completion of activities in all phases of the project cycle of facilities-related construction projects and manage the office or directorate-level portfolio of requirements. Develop a thorough understanding of the directorate's program level requirements and strategic goals and provide a direct conduit for communications and requirements between facilities services (FS) and the deployed office or directorate. Integrate and coordinate the project with field personnel. Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders, assist the contracting officer (CO) and contracting officer technical representative (COTR) with acquisition planning, execution, and administration, collect requirements, prepare statement of work (SOW), conduct market research, and develop other documentation. Conduct technical reviews, evaluate project solicitations, proposals, quotes, and proposed change requests, and review and approve shop drawings and submittals. Conduct pre-bid and pre-construction site visits and validate invoices for partial or full payment. Assist with the preparation of the contractor performance report (CPR) upon contract closeout. This position will require 3 to 5 OCONUS travel trips per year with an average duration of 21 days and 6 day work weeks and is located in Annapolis Junction, MD. Basic Qualifications: -10 years of experience with working in facilities -Experience with customer relationship management -Experience with project management -Experience with commercial or government facilities-related renovation of construction projects -Ability to handle multiple, demanding, and complex projects in a timely manner with accurate results -Ability to read and comprehend construction documents -Ability to work nights and weekends for operational necessities -Ability to travel domestically or overseas as necessary and work 70-hour workweek during OCONUS deployment -Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph -BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications: -Knowledge of and commitment to sound program management techniques -Ability to show commitment to mission support -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -Professional Project Manager (PMP) Certification a plus -Weapons Certification
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
