CQ Roll Call seeks an experienced news editor to serve as deputy to our budget and economics editor. The editors supervise a team of reporters responsible for coverage breaking news and production of in-depth stories on budget and appropriations, tax policy, financial services legislation, trade issues and other economics issues. The successful candidate will have a passion for policy -- particularly budget and fiscal issues*- and an understanding of Congress, a drive to move quickly on breaking news, and an ability to managing reporters, and stories for all platforms, including real-time, dally news and magazine narratives.
