The DHS information security program provides direct support to the Department's missions. Under the leadership of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the DHS Information Security Program supports the Department's implementation of all applicable regulatory requirements including the Computer Security Act, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), the Clinger-Cohen Act, relevant Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circulars, Executive Orders, and Homeland Security Presidential Directives (HSPD). The DHS compliance program focuses on the areas of measurement & analysis, inspections & quality assurance, and monitoring & reporting in order to fulfill the DHS CISO strategic security goals. # - # - #Required Skills Must have 10 years of Program Management experience in DOD/Federal Government * · Practical knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and related supplements * · Bachelor's degree in software engineering, electrical engineering or related field * · MBA or a Masters in the above majors desired * · Working knowledge of various types of government contracts and contracting activities * · DoD and Federal Sector agencies training programs experience * · Possess >5 years of front-line Information Technology and cyber security experience * · Demonstrated ability to manage contracts with >$5M annual sales * · Demonstrated ability to develop solutions for complex program technical requirements * · Experienced in building and managing favorable customer relationships * · Ability to operate independently but still retain an enterprise focus * · Excellent presentation and written communication skills * · Prior supervisory experience with Information Technology/cyber security programsJob LocationWashington, DC USPosition TypeFull-Time/Regular
