Device UI Design Marketing Manager
• Masters degree (or equivalent experience) preferred, specializing in the fields of Human Factors, HCI, Psychology, Product Designs or related fields
• 5 years experiences in user interface specification and development; proven expertise in user-centered design and evaluation
• Experiences in the design of mobile applications or services, touch screen UI, small-screen interaction, or physical devices.
• Knowledge and strong interest in wireless handheld devices and wireless technologies.
• Vendor management skills and experiences are strongly desired.
• Problem solving skills and business acumen to meet business challenges with great design solutions.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills required to support multi-level, multi-organizational izon Wireless is seeking an innovative and detail-oriented user experience professional who can manage mobile UI design projects in a fast-speed, product management environment. As a key member of the Device UX team, the UX professional will work with internal UI requirement teams, mobile service product teams, and industry's leading device manufacturers to deliver mobile devices and experiences that meet the needs of customers and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with UX Design teams of device suppliers and other technology partners to develop leading edge user interfaces that are competitive in the marketplace.
• Manage design, development, and delivery of user experience planning on Verizon Wireless mobile products.
• Lead the effort to deliver best-in-class user experience by integrating the Verizon Wireless' service capabilities and leading-edge designs to the marketplace.
• Drive the Verizon Wireless User Interface requirements into the marketplace to support multiple strategic initiatives.
• Work with mobile product management and segmentation teams to evolve current the mobile user experience to deliver the company's service capability.
• Collaborate with internal UI Requirement teams to define critical functions and interactions to drive consistency of core functionality across devices.
• Provide input to the User Experience strategy through ongoing competitive evaluation of marketplace.
