Overview:
Responsible for identifying US government and commercial market opportunities within Iraq and the surrounding region, coordinating and/or assisting in proposal initiatives and capturing new business with a continual focus on meeting customer demands while driving revenue return. Also, functions as a liason between international regional business development resources and business unit leadership. Provides and initiates market analysis affecting customer buying habits and patterns, brand promotional strategy, and selling tools.

Responsibilities:
* Plays a key role in Marketing SOC's competencies to potential U.S. government, intelligence community, and non-government clients.
* Will act as the BD lead for new pursuits and be responsible for leading and coordinating captures that include multiple programs and customer sets. Identifies resource requirements for new business.
* Manages planning and execution of new business and program growth activities including opportunity assessment, capture management, competitive assessment and positioning, program growth campaigns, customer relationship development, teaming/subcontracting strategy, and customer relationship development, teaming/subcontracting strategy, and customer relationship development.
* Reviews and analyzes RFPs, RFQs and Statements of Work (SOW), as well as associated documentation, with a focus on the key requirements to identify opportunities. Reviews proposal materials to ensure clients' intent is reflected in all SOC submissions.
* Supports the business development proposal process by maintaining a frequent, professional and cordial relationship with all client representatives, producing site specific information, photographs, site diagrams, white papers, capability statements, briefings, etc.
* Manages pipeline of opportunities and supports finance department in development of forcasts and potential investments requirements necessary to meet the demands of the pipeline.

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Extensive experience as a capture manager for a prime contractor on a federal acquisition with a total contract value greater than $100m.
*
Experience with and a thorough understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
*
Customer focused, quality driven team player with multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced environment and communicate technically complex subject matter to all levels of an organization.
*
Ability to travel internationally (50%) to austere environments for extended periods of time and with short notice.
*
Foreign language proficiency (Arabic or other regional language) preferred.
Qualifications:
*
Bachelor's degree in business, international business, marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
*
10 years of professional experience, minimum 3 years experience in federal business development with a demonstrated win record greater than 60% and over $100m. Experience in US Government service preferred. Military or another US Government Agency experience preferred.
*
Must have the ability to attain and maintain a US Secret scurity clearance. Top Secret preferred.
