Overview:
Acquisitions are a critical activity that supports the strategic future of International Specialty Products, a premier specialty chemicals company with revenues of over $1.5 billion (www.ispcorp.com). Primary target companies are small to medium size ($5-$200 mil).

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility is to source and recommend potential acquisitions which complement the ISP businesses. The Director of Corporate Development works closely with a core acquisition team comprised of the CFO, International Business Heads, in-house attorneys, Finance, HR, and the CEO, on sourcing acquisition candidates through the due diligence process. This role will project-manage the acquisition processes including analysis, review, and modeling, to maximize effectiveness.


Qualifications:

A BA/BS in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering and an MBA with concentration in Finance from a top business school is preferred.
The successful candidate has 7-10 years experience with a strong track record of achievement and may come from one of the following environments:
* Specialty chemical company with heavy industry knowledge and networking contacts.
* Private equity firm focused on specialty chemical companies.
Specific experience comprises:
* Sourcing acquisition targets
* Quantitative and qualitative financial analysis, projections, and modeling
* Project management
* Due diligence activities
* Structuring transactions
