* Apply for this opportunity now! * Email my friend this job opportunity More information about this job: Overview: Position is responsible for identifying market penetration opportunities within area of assignment, coordinate and/or assist in proposal initiatives and capturing new business with a continual focus of meeting customer demands while driving revenue return. Also functions as liaison between international regional business development resources and business unit focus. Provides and/or initiates market analysis affecting customer buying habits and patterns, brand promotional strategy, and selling tools.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities: * Will primarily support the Support Services business unit and other SOC initiatives as needed. * Plays a key role in marketing SOC's competencies to potential U.S. government and intelligence community, and non-government clients. * Will build successful working relationships with customers and other SOC organizations. * Will act as the BD lead for new pursuits and be responsible for leading and coordinating captures that include multiple programs and customer sets. * Consults with program managers and senior management, and provides advice and strategic market direction to management regarding new business and program growth issues and opportunities. * Will champion continuous improvement to business development activities that will enable the business unit to find and secure new sources of revenue, and maintain/improve current revenue streams. * Manages planning and execution of new business and program growth activities including opportunity assessment, Capture Management, competitive assessment and positioning, program growth campaigns, customer relationship development, teaming/subcontracting strategy, and customer relationship development. * Identifies resource requirements for new business and program growth pursuits. * Reviews and analyzes RFPs, RFQs and/or Statements of Work (SOW), as well as associated documentation, with a focus on the key requirements to identify opportunities. * Maintains a working knowledge of all aspects of the organization as it relates to a specific service line (i.e. corporate capabilities, history, client relationships, chain of command, etc.) * Supports the business development proposal process by maintaining a frequent, professional, and cordial relationship with all client representatives, producing site specific information, photographs, site diagrams, white papers, capability statements, briefings, etc. * Reviews proposal material(s) to ensure that clients’ intent is reflected in all SOC's submissions. * Communicates effectively with various government and non-government agencies across the business spectrum. * Monitors and tracks time specific requirements of assigned projects. * Contributes to lessons learned exercises and assists with integrating suggested improvements into future business development processes. * Represents SOC in key customer meetings and subcontractor / teammate meetings. * Ideal candidate will have an understanding and operational experience with US government programs and customers. * Position reports to the Senior Vice President, Business Development, and has responsibility for management of business development and program growth initiatives for Support Services programs. * Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in business, international business, marketing, history or equivalent, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.. * 3 to 5 years experience in a marketing or sales venue with a demonstrated win record. * Strong inner drive for success and winning attitude. * International and/or US Government service experience preferred. * Military or service in another related US Government agency preferred. * Intermediate/advance experience with Microsoft Office and its associated software. * Customer focused, quality driven, team player with ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced, demanding environment. * Ability to travel internationally for extended periods of time and with short notifications. * Must be able to comply with corp. policies and procedures and other practices set forth by senior management directives. * Demonstrate experience and ability to analyzing and presenting complex data in an easy-to-understand format. * Must have the ability to communicate technically-complex subject matter to all levels of an organization. * Must have or ability to apply and receive a U.S. Secret Clearance.
