Job Description

* Direct the Electrical Engineering Department to provide workingcontrol and power conversion equipment
· Develop and designmotion servo controls
· Develop analytical models of power generation system
· Design mechanical aspects of electrical systems including component arrangements, cooling and heat flow mechanisms, etc.
· Develop complete and thorough test plans forall electrical systemsand coordinate testing of subsystems and completed systems
· Interface directly with customers
· Prepare and review project electrical engineering and design budgets/schedules

All candidatesMUSThave the following experiences to qualify for consideration

· PleaseDO NOT APPLYunless you have a BS Degree in Electrical Engineeringand a minimum of5+ yearsof recentmanagementexperience leading the design oflarge, high-power equipment(such as manufacturing equipment, construction machinery, automation equipment, utility company generators, factory production systems, etc.)
· A strongmotion controlbackground is required
* Extensive design experience withelectro-mechanicalsystems is mandatory
* Must be highly skilled in power electrical systems
· Skilled with soft/hardware control systems(such as PLC's/controllers) and their appropriate software systems
* Experienced with electrical design ofgenerator/motor systems
· Experience moving a team from an R&D to a commercial environment is a plus
