Job Description

* Report to the VP of finance
* Conductinternal audits for management and the Audit Committeeto assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records and the efficiency of the operations of the company
* Perform2-4 operational audits Per Annum
* Perform periodic major vendor contract compliance audits
* Review annual Unclaimed Property tax return, including due diligence letters
* Review annual Tax Return Forms 8288 and 1042
* Review and auditdesignated business expense accounts
* Discrimination testing for 401(k) plan and compile information for 401(k) Form 5500
* Test the results of multiple quarterly retail inventories.
* ConductQuarterly cash counts
* Audit for all package plans, trade outs and equity transactions
* Audit andaccount for quarterly bonus and commission payouts
* Respond to all IRS and Department of Revenue inquiries
* Liaison for 401(k) audit and workers' compensation audit
* Liaison for sales tax audit for any unresolved issues

* PleaseDO NOT APPLYunless you have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Financeand at least4 years of auditing experiencespecifically in thehospitality field
* A deep understanding of the operations side of an organization is essential
* Experience working for a resort that has a home owners association for it's members and dealing with home membership dues, etc. is a plus
