Thompson Technologies is seeking a Permanent Director of Operations on the NorthEast side of Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have experience? within a banking or financial services industry with a focus on operational efficiency.? Experience with Underwriting would be mary Responsibilities Include: Assists in identification of business drivers and trends as well as development and execution of strategic plans to address trends. Ensure the various processing units are effective and producing quality operational and financial results. Monitors quality, compliance, and results of underwriting policies, procedures and results across all lines of business. Participates in team environment where leadership team works together to continually improve the results and level of performance for their lines and across the office.? Works with Line of Business management to adjust underwriting practices as appropriate to anticipate, respond to and manage trends. Daily review and reconciliation of Key Indicators company wide and highlight variances for further review by the Executive Management Team.? Responsible for invoice review and approval process for the underwriting department. Direct management of the office operations unit supervisors/managers and/or staff. Develops staff to ensure succession plan and talent retention. Identifies and promotes opportunities for exposure and experience to ensure continuous development of staff. Serves as superior role model of decision making skills and professional image by seeking and sharing knowledge from experience, and taking responsible risks to improve individual and team petencies:Leadership:? Effectively influences people to achieve organizational objectives. Embraces the leadership role and can be counted on to help drive towards the desired results and to exceed goals munication:?
