Position Summary:
Exceptional Staffing, Inc., affiliate of People 2.0 is currently
seeking for a Director of Orthopedics/Joint Unit for a major medical
company in the Tennessee area.
Job Description:
Facility seeking Director of start-up expansion Orthopedics
department; will open with 10 beds, expanding to 20. Must
have experience following the initial hospital evaluation through
surgery and recovery to the Orthopedic Unit. Mos work
cohesively with Director of Physical Therapy and orthopedics surgeons
to take patients through the quality of care required for early
independence and early discharge. Must have strong
understanding of post-op care/rehab. Position reports directly
to CNO. Certification in orthopedic nursing can be obtained
on-site.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
* 4-5 years orthopedic experience, strong leadership
background.
* BSN and certification in orthopedic nursing required.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Good planning and project management ability
