DIRECTOR OF PATIENT CARE - FROEDTERT HEALTH MEDICAL GROUP - SFT - 1.0 FTE - 80/PP - 1ST SHIFT - WEST
Job Summary: Direct the operation, financial and personnel activities of nursing, PSR/reception, switchboard, health and safety and ancillary clinic services. Monitor and evaluates quality of clinical care, service performance, and cost effectiveness of care delivery process.
Plans, organizes and directs all functions of the clinic services. Ensures provision of competent, well trained staff at appropriate staffing level to assure efficient, effective delivery of patient care .
Maintains quality control program to assess and improve delivery and quality of patient care. Monitors and evaluates patient satisfaction. Coordinates overall budget process for departments. Assists finance to set budget targets, facilitates input from providers, assesses staffing requirements, capital equipment, operational planning, space utilization and long range needs.
Participates in recruitment, selection, orientation, training and ongoing support of physician and staff. Assists in the training of staff and oversees appropriate staff counseling and recommends corrective action as need.
Assures department maintains standards of care which meets professional standards as well as clinic, regulatory agency and accreditation requirements. Participates in strategic planning process. Develops short and long term goals to meet clinic mission and objectives.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Experience: Three years related experience to include management responsibilities
Certification: Licensed as Nurse in Wisconsin, CPR Certification.
