Director of Product Marketing - Media / CDN
About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, Product Marketing Director to define and execute the go-to-market strategy for our HD Network, Media Delivery & Analytics, Storage and Software Delivery products. This person will be our voice for our media products to internal and external audiences including customers, sales, industry and financial analysts and media.
Responsibilities:
* Establish overall positioning and go-to-market strategy for the Media products, including the HD Network, Media Analytics, Storage and Software Delivery products.
* Remain current to trends and issues as they relate to the product offering as well as emerging technologies, standards, and market trends.
* Create messaging, positioning, competitive analysis and sales tools, and provide sales support and escalation for deals contributing to customer wins.
* Serve as the product expert to the field, including product sales training, product evangelism and speaking/print opportunities.
* Work closely with product divisions on roadmap, beta customers and product promotion of the solution.
* Identify strategic go-to-market partnership opportunities and execute partner marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or marketing, MBA preferred.
* Experience: 10+ years of professional experience.
* 7+ years of Product Marketing or equivalent experience.
* 7+ years of experience working with internet-related technologies or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years of experience working in the digital media space.
* Requires a thorough understanding of rich media, including media technologies for the creation, management, delivery, and reporting of media on the Internet.
*Strong knowledge of the M&E industry, and the ecosystem of companies for delivering media on the Internet.
*A proven history of growing revenue thru Product Marketing for both new and mature product lines, with experience and desire for managing a team of individuals.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad range of technical and business audiences.
* Situational fluency, ability to influence and motivate others, and perserverance to handle challenging business situations.
