Currently, one of our top clients is in search of an exceptional Director of Statistics (Medical Device) in Santa Barbara, CA. The Director of Statistics provides direction, guidance, and leadership on clinical program strategy, planning statistical design of clinical trials, and applying statistical methodology to provide information for clinical research and statistical analyses in project teams and in interactions with regulatory agencies. The Director of Statistics directs the operations and/or activities of Biostatistics including planning and scheduling, training of staff and maintaining staffing at an appropriate level and skill sets to meet departmental and corporate goals and objectives.
A few specific accountabilities: * Ensure quality of documents (protocol, statistical analysis plan, consistency checks of the annotated CRFs, Tables, Listings and Graphs (TLGs), and integrated clinical and statistical report (CSR) through critical review of documents * Oversee methods to collect information and development of case report forms according to study design * Direct staff in the evaluation of source information reliability, adjusting and weighing raw data, and organizing results into form compatible with analysis by computers or other methods
