Director Sales Force Effectiveness
Kronos is looking for a Director of Sales Force Effectiveness who can support a growing multi-channel sales organization. This position will report to the VP of Sales Operations and will interact extensively at both a senior management and individual contributor level with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and IT, to ensure that the company meets revenue objectives and properly executes sales and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Set strategic direction to maximize sales force effectiveness.
Design and manage standardized and scalable processes and policies that motivate employees and ensure priorities are aligned with overall organizational goals across Sales & Marketing
Develop sales performance measures to analyze and address needs of sales force to exploit identified market opportunities; create performance dashboards for each market
Partner with stakeholders in sales , Marketing, HR, and IT management to optimize sales force operational excellence and structure through tools and initiatives in alignment with Kronos strategic goals
Define, implement and monitor the productivity indicators used in measuring Sales performance and efficiency. Design and produce Executive level reports. Recommend changes and enhancements when required to achieve productivity goals.
Document Standard Operating Procedures for agreed upon business processes related to SFE
Work with training organization to Develop and deliver content for SFE & Operations owned tools to the sales force. Partner with training organization on sales skill development initiatives to support competency development of individual contributors and managers
Qualifications:
BA or BS degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the high tech industry.
5-7 Years Sales Force Effectiveness and/or Operations management experience
Experience managing a sales force is highly preferred.
Strong project leadership skills with an ability to set a vision and to lead change.
Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills in order to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures, and disciplines.
Strong executive presence with ability to command respect through exercise of sound business judgment and clear decision-making.
Excellent management skills-- training, project management, planning, prioritization, objective setting, meeting management and plan execution is required.
Demonstrated excellence in strategic and tactical analysis and planning.
Ability to work with and coordinate demands from multiple internal customers in a matrix team.
Ability to manage projects and multi-task in a deadline intensive environment.
Ability to recognize and interpret business issues/opportunities and recommend solutions through analysis.
Ability to assume full responsibility for accuracy, reliability and timeliness of deliverables completed through own efforts.
In-depth knowledge of MS Excel, Siebel, MS Word, PowerPoint etc
