This new position will provide strategic and operational direction for talent acquisition and new hire integration into the Virginia Mason Medical Center. This position will be responsible for: * Providing strategic and operational direction for talent acquisition and new hire integration * Overseeing effective and efficient full-cycle recruiting to provide candidates who meet organizational needs and cultural expectations * Creating and implementing a proactive and innovative focus on workforce planning, forecasting, sourcing, recruiting, and on-boarding * Assessing current operations and identifying methods for streamlining processes to meet and exceed established recruiting metrics * Building valued partnerships with hiring managers * Supervising two direct reports and a total team of ten
Required Experience:
The successful candidate will have: * A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field or equivalent experience; Master's degree in a related field and COP, CBP, S/PHR or related credentials are preferred * A minimum of 7 years of management experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in talent acquisition * Experience in a leadership role within a large organization, including managing teams of experienced HR professionals * Experience with creating and/or redesigning processes and teams * Excellent networking abilities and demonstrated experience building solid talent pipelines * Strong proficiency with technology and experience using it to streamline talent acquisition processes * Experience with LEAN/process improvement principles is preferred
