Division Controller for multi billion dollar retail company
Divisional Controller opportunity with multi-billion dollar retail company in Edison, NJ. The Divisional Controller will provide leadership and guidance on business development matters and ongoing operations. The Controller will also be responsible for overseeing the daily corporate accounting as well as the budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting to the parent company. This position will report to the Director and President of the division and promises outstanding growth potential. Additional responsibilities include: Oversee the maintenance of complete and accurate corporate financial and accounting records Manage the annual operating plan process and the budget function of the company. Manage the monthly closing process. Provide internal accounting financial reports that are timely and accurate, and assures that internal accounting controls are functional. Coordinate independent audit of books and records and preparation of all analytical reports as required for internal or outside party verification. Provide guidance to all levels of management as to the formulation of policies and procedures designed to protect and safeguard the company assets. Responsible for reporting that will improve the profitability of the company either through expense reduction or revenue enhancement. Supervision of the accounting staff.
This position will pay $125 - $135k plus 20% target bonus and excellent benefits
