Job Description

Objectives:
o Provide proactive assistance to clients by identifying and resolving submission issues, along with providing timely and accurate test results and information to both internal and external clients that meet or exceed their expectations.
o Provide support to Buffalo Operations to achieve and maintain excellence in client services/customer relations both internally and externally.  Serve as direct link between clients testing in Buffalo and the lab, technical and business development staff by providing them with submission, testing, and pricing information that is accurate, prompt and delivered in a professional manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
o Offer problem resolution, as applicable, for any client issues identified, highlighted or questions with the aim of enhancing client satisfaction and improving client relations.
Administrative:
o Procure samples needed for testing, as required.
Technical Administrative:
o Provide accurate, up-to-date information for BVLab.
o Prepare Report Tracking Sheets that include appropriate report distribution processand program requirements, if required.
Client Services:
o Present results to clients either verbally or through the generation of an RQF as necessary. 
o Assist with monitoring on hold submissions and ensuring they are followed up on a timely basis.
o Prepare quotes and QA Plans for testing to be conducted in Buffalo.
o Provide testing information to our clients to answer their Buffalo submission and pricing inquiries.  Interact with technical staff to obtain answers when unable to do so alone.
o Resolve initial and in-process submission issues.
o Conduct administrative contract review to verify client requirements are met and log in is accurate.
o Develop and maintain productive client relationships through professional service and effective communication to BV-CPS clients who test in Buffalo.
o Ensure day-to-day client requests, problems, issues and complaints are handled efficiently and professionally.
o Ensure accurate and complete delivery of services within defined turnaround times, including sample control label review, quote generation, client directory set up, sample process questions and follow up.
o Support labs, technical staff, business development staff, and collections staff with miscellaneous functions relating to follow-up on client requests and/or disputes.
o Support Sales & Marketing efforts by coordinating, issuing, and monitoring quotations to prospects and new clients.
o Assist in surveying and monitoring client needs and service satisfaction.  Provide feedback to Sales and Marketing and client support team.
o Provide account information to Business Development team in order to minimize risk, maximize opportunities and achieve sales goals.
o Participate in client meetings.
o Communicate / escalate significant client issues to Business Development team for resolution.
o Communicate / train internal staff on administrative changes to client requirements (i.e. manuals, protocols, general procedures, etc.).
o Monitor / report client sales volume and submission data for Buffalo site to the Business Development Team to meet client requirements.
o Participate in department meetings.
o Assist with other departmental projects and issues as deemed necessary by management.
Quality:
o Adhere to the requirements of the BV-CPS Quality System and assist with the implementation and maintenance of the department quality system.
o Provide feedback to the department manager regarding departmental systems, processes and recommendations for improvements.

Required Experience

Education & Experience:
o Four year degree preferred, or
o Two year degree in a technical, business or administrative field with 2 years of client service experience that demonstrates aptitude in the skills and requirements detailed above, or
o Four years of client service experience that demonstrates aptitude in the skills and requirements detained above.
