Our company is looking for an outstanding Firmware Engineer who will contribute to our HDTV video surveillance applications and systems. We seek someone who is hands-on with application development experience on embedded platform with a real-time operating system. This position will be working with a fast paced engineering team and will develop firmware solutions for next generation megapixel IP cameras. This position may include some management responsibilities and will eventually evolve into a product development manager. We pay very competitive salaries and revenue-sharing bonuses to allow every key team member to fully share in our success. You need experience with: RTOS, embedded Linux, Linux driver, GNU tool chain, C/C++, network protocols, HTTP, HTTPS, RTSP, JPEG, MPEG, H.264, megapixel IP camera. Job summary: - Design and develop firmware solutions for cutting edge megapixel IP cameras using C/C++ and assembly. - Develop RTOS drivers for microprocessor peripherals; optimize Linux and/or RTOS kernel to meet performance requirements on network throughput, interrupt response time, etc. - Provide technical assistance to our company?s partners and customers worldwide in developing applications involving our company?s products. - Prepare technical documentation related to firmware development. Requirements: - MS in CS/EE or similar; 5+ years of experience in the related field. - Experience with multi-threaded C++ application development using open source tool chain. - Understanding of socket and lower level network programming and troubleshooting. - Expertise in embedded RTOS driver design and kernel optimization. - Must have a familiarity with microprocessor architecture, especially ARM, Microblaze, and 8051. - Must have a familiarity with image compression standards JPEG and H.264 as well as XML, Javascript, Microsoft Visual Studio, and security/surveillance applications.
