Summary To manage all aspects of the Emergency Management Division.

* Provides managerial oversight, direction and coordination for the Emergency Management Division (EMD). * Review and assure compliance with contract requirements within EMD. * Implement and manage all aspects of the Emergency Management Program to include planning, training, operations, logistics, force management, information management, and all additional duty programs related to the emergency management and disaster preparedness mission. * Responsible for emergency response planning for natural disasters and wartime contingency response. * Manage response training for base personnel to include emergency response and command and control. * Author, edit and coordinate outgoing/incoming plans concerning emergency response, base support, and force protection. * Serve as OPR for CE exercise, emergency and contingency response planning. * Responsible for contract correspondence and contract deliverables pertaining to EMD. * Conducts or attends meetings involving EMD or support staff. * Budgets, maintains, and inspects essential supplies and equipment for contingency/emergency responses. * Supervises, trains, and exercises specialized CE disaster response teams. * Provides shelter planning for all base personnel during disasters and contingency events. * Prepares and reviews base Support Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding. * Acts as technical advisor to base disaster response teams. * Prepares 'Customer Update' presentations, providing operational support information, special interest concerns, environmental topics, project status data, and other information requested by the customer. * Develops and coordinates award nomination packages, suggestion program responses, and responses to action line requests in coordination with Contracting Officer. * Assures recognition, health, welfare, and morale of assigned personnel. * Assists QC in performing surveillance of safety program work performed in EMD. * Conducts all internal and external training for assigned staff. * Performs all other duties as assigned. * Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline or field. * AA degree and 10 years experience in technical discipline may be substituted for college degree. * Graduate of courses (PWS 4.6.2.1.3): * X3AZR3E771-012 Hazardous Materials Awareness Train-the-Trainer * J3ALP3E931-003, Readiness Apprentice * J5OZD13E3D-001, Radiological Emergency Team Operations (RETOPS) * J3AZP3E971-003, Advanced Readiness * J3AZP3E971 005, NBC Cell Operations; or approved equivalent by the authority having jurisdiction over this program. Readiness Management Applications Course (Management 410) * USAF Readiness Flight Officer (RFO) Course, J3OZP32E1D 010, or approved equivalent by the authority having jurisdiction over this program. * USAF On-Scene Commanders (OSC) Course, MLMDC 813 highly desired. * Experience as a readiness flight chief or equivalent. * Demonstrated proficiency in operating and analyzing products generated by the Emergency Information System or successor highly desired.
