Employee Relations Manager
Northrop Grumman Technical Services is looking for a Employee Relations Manager, reporting to the Sector Director of Workplace Relations, Ethics and Diversity. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in coaching and counseling employees and managers on matters of performance, disciplinary actions and policy interpretation in a production type of environment. Must have strong investigative skills in responding to employee complaints and open line calls, experience with interpreting policies, and applicable employment law. Develops employee communication and delivers training programs to include but not limited to ethics and positive employee relations.
Basic Qualifications: • 7 plus years experience in Human Resources
• Bachelors in Human Resources or related degree. Will consider equivalent experience in lieu of degree
• Experience with Service Contract Act
• Desired experience working with collective bargaining agreements
• Extensive experience in investigating and responding to to employee complaints
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS office
• Ability to travel
