Description: TASC, Inc. seeks an individual to provide System Engineering and Technical Advice (SETA) services to an intelligence community mission operations customer. The position will be located in Springfield, Virginia. The primary focus of this position will be assisting critical intelligence customers successfully operate, maintain, and provide status reporting of our Nation's intelligence systems and their associated ground command and control, communications, computers, and intelligence systems. The individual fulfilling this position will provide support essential elements of government management support. In this role, the individual will support the Gov in the development of high-level technical documents, management of actions, review and comment on architecture definition, maintain awareness of end-to-end performance, and the conduct of an essential Intelligence Community entity front-office area.
Essential functions of this position:
Ø Interact with senior GEOINT and SIGINT system customers, System Integrator and SETA engineers to oversee and coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects from a front-office perspective as part of a Government Management Support team.
o May include but is not limited to:
Strategic business plan development and management
Facilitation support
Protocol support
Admin support
Chief of Staff support
Directors Action Group support
Ø Serve as liaison between government management and project teams.
Ø Ability to provide situational awareness and action expertise to Directorate leadership team
Ø Assess project issues and help develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives
Ø Ensure the creation and maintenance of logical and systematic front-office business rhythms facilitating total systems solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Required Job Qualifications
Ø Possess one or more of the following:
o Experience with Action Item processes
o Experience with Action Item tracking tools
o Business work flows for documentation coordination.
Ø Minimum of BS in technical discipline.
Ø Minimum 9 years experience with GEOINT and/or SIGINT programs, systems engineering, integration, advisory, or program management.
Ø Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph
Desired Job Qualifications
Ø Experience (advisory, development, operations, etc) and knowledge of current worldwide NRO operations and associated operations field sites - hardware, software, etc.
Required Personal Skills
Ø Must be able to work in Customer facilities in Springfield, Va.
Ø Demonstrated capabilities and success working in Team Environments
Ø An aggressive, self-initiating, and problem-solving personality that is complemented by exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ø Must be able to work multiple tasks simultaneously
Ø Communicate (written/verbal) findings in a logical manner with supporting information
Ø Prepare material complicated by short deadlines and limited information
Ø Must be customer-focused and capable of representing the Customer in meetings with mid- to senior-level management.
