Position Description:
Stanley Associates (wholly owned subsidiary of CGI Federal) is seeking a Senior Technician / Engineering Support to perform prototype integration, installation, maintenance, repair, modifications and servicing of aircraft gun systems and munitions.
Specific Duties:
? Experience with maintenance, repair, modifications and servicing of aircraft gun systems. ? Analyze reports and maintenance records of aircraft gun systems to determine the need for improving work methods and repair techniques. ? Support missile systems lifecycle throughout design, development, integration, test, deployment and sustainment ? Collect, compile and analyze radar, optical and telemetry data gathered from ballistic missile test events ? Interpret technical publications relevant to maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft gun and munitions systems and auxiliary equipment. ? Decide probability of repair of components or the need for submission of material deficiency reports. ? Evaluate operational effectiveness of aircraft gun and munitions systems and recommend modification of equipment. ? Provide training to all personnel supporting the weapon systems maintenance Requirements Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years of directly related work experience required. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and a minimum of 10 years directly related work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Additional Requirements:
? Ability to successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment. ? Possession of an ACTIVE SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment; US Citizenship is required ? Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications. ? Strong analytical and problem solving skills. ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ? Attention to detail. ? Ability to work with minimal supervision.
