Are you adept at envisioning national security architectures and their associated requirements as an intelligence collection enterprise? If so, TASC Inc's End to End Systems Engineering Department has a challenging and rewarding opportunity as career stepping stone. This position will provide systems engineering (SE) support to the Customer's SE Directorate, Office of the Chief Architect (OCA) to ensure the technical integration of the Customer's program elements and support the architectural vision and goals. You will work closely with the acquisition directorates and R&D directorate to define future architectures. Support interfaces will be with the DNI, mission partners, and other Capability Requirements providers. You will assess internal and external requirements to develop, maintain, and verify the architectural integrity of these requirements and to ensure requirements allocation to the Enterprise and Systems-level in support of events and milestones for the next generation of the Customer's acquisitions. The position serves as the Action Officer to ensure the approved Customer architecture is defined, developed and captured at the enterprise level; all requirements are documented, coordinated, and translated into Enterprise Requirement and System CONOPS; documented and communicated to the Customer and the broader Intelligence Community and DoD user community; work with JCS, DNI, other IC agencies and internal Customer leadership to coordinate requirements activities to support development, definition and administration of the requirements process for Customer acquisitions; and oversight of the strategy, planning and development of the System of Systems COMOPs, Requirements Development process, and Enterprise Requirements assessment.
Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering or technical/systems disciplines with a minimum 14 years experience. Knowledge of multi-intelligence collection missions and capabilities across the IC. Knowledge of the Customer's business operations, systems architectures, and operation (or of a similar large agency). Knowledgable of the IC and Defense communities requirements an requirements processes. Excellent written communications skills, including the ability to translate and transform technical jargon and briefs into clear, concise and meaningful products for senior executives. The following are desired qualifications: experience with GEOINT or SIGINT; development of Capability Development Documents, Statement of Capability documents; and Architecture, Systems and Operational-level CONOP documents; knowledge of / experience with JCIDS and ICCR processes and DoD Instruction 5000-02; management experience in leading technical projects; ability to execute the plan to achieve strategic goals, evaluating progress against those goals, to include optimizing resources and balancing change in complex environments; MS in Engineering, Science, ot Math or other technical/systems disciplines with a minimum of 12 years experience; and INCOSE certification.
