Our Association has recently completed the development of a beautiful 100,000 sq. ft. facility located in downtown Bay City, Michigan. The new Executive Director will have an unprecedented opportunity to leverage this new facility and harness this momentum to expand our Association's impact.
Our Association is an important player and asset to the economic development of the community. The new Executive Director must be a community advocate dedicated to the development and strengthening of collaborations throughout the local area communities. The Executive Director must be seen as a respected community leader while always upholding the highest standards and values of our Association and its proud heritage.
This position necessitates a person with a proven track record of solid leadership with a strong customer service focus. He/she must be sensitive to the needs and interests of the community.
Minimum Criteria for candidates:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prefer seven years prior experience in a management role with a business organization or a Association including direct supervision of multiple levels of staff and volunteers.
Financial and budget experience required
Fund raising and development experience preferred
A track record for building, strengthening and leveraging community partnerships and alliances in order to expand services that address community needs
Ability to work with a governing Board and its volunteer leadership structure
Salary:
$70,000 - $85,000
Additional Compensation Details:
Salary is commensurate with experience. Competitive Benefit Plan as Per Personnel Policy.
