The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience within banking, commercial or mortgage lending, insurance, asset management, broker/dealer, or hedge funds. Four-year bachelor degree required. CPA, MBA or other designation preferred. Very strong Excel skills and an aptitude to learn new systems is required. Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a sense of urgency as well as meet reporting deadlines and prioritize work is required. Candidates must be willing and able to commute to Los Angeles and / or the surrounding area.

- Financial Reporting/Regulatory Reporting: SEC & Call reporting
- Month End Close
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Compliance, including: Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Lending, Anti-Money Laundering, Basel II, Model Audit Rule, SOX
- Risk, including: Credit, Operational, Market, Interest Rate, ERM
- Internal audit
- Fund Accounting for Private Equity, Hedge Fund or Real Estate
- Accounting and Finance transformation/system implementations/conversions/merger integration
- Asset Liability Management
- Credit Administration/Credit Review/Loan Service Operations
- Business Process Reengineering and Design of Policies and Procedure
