Key Role: Analyze business opportunities and develop export license applications to ensure releasability of technical data and services, as required. Analyze for compliance with conditions and provisos in accordance with applicable export laws, policies, and regulations. Work with the firm's business to develop export authorizations and execute and manage requirements under contracts in accordance with appropriate export authorization. Interact with the US Departments of State and Commerce and DoD, as well as cognizant sector personnel on matters pertaining to export activities and issues, including regulatory or other developments that may affect US government approval. Basic Qualifications: -5 years of experience with export and a comprehension of ITAR, EAR, and other government export regulations and export licensing processes and procedures -Experience with public and private sector domestic and international contracts, classified records, and DoD -Knowledge of US government export regulations, including the Departments of State, Commerce, and Treasury, and processes and procedures relating to exports of Military and commercial items -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications: -Experience with the Departments of State and Commerce preferred -Knowledge of foreign export laws and regulations a plus -Ability to work in a team environment -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -Active security clearance preferred
