FBCB2 RESET ILS

Job Descriptions:
The RESET Inventory Logistics Specialist (ILS) serves as an integral team member during preparation and execution of a RESET Mission. At the direction of the RESET Coordinator, the RESET ILS works support efforts to assemble RESET Team mission equipment and FBCB2 repair and class IX parts required for a RESET Mission. The RESET ILS assists with the tracking of 1149 Push and Sustainment FBCB2 LRUs, Integrated Racks (IRs) & Installation Kits (IKs) validated for a RESET Mission. The RESET ILS participates in RESET LBE surveys to document types of Vehicles & status of FBCB2 IRs & IKs. The RESET ILS generates property accountability and maintenance documentation as required during the unit turn-in process of FBCB2 LRUs for RESET. The RESET ILS generates and tracks Quality Deficiency Reports (QDR) & Reports of Discrepancy (ROD) IAW DA PAM 738-50, as required during RESET. The RESET ILS supports the team with purging & loading hard drives and zeroing & provisioning Transceivers. Given Mission, Priorities and Time, the RESET ILS may be required to work RESET Installation/Re-Integration. The RESET ILS must be prepared to travel 50%-75% and up to 100% in extreme circumstances in support of FBCB2 RESET Missions (CONUS and OCONUS). In addition to the basic job description, the following RESET ILS skills and tasks are required but will not be limited to: - Work as a team member supporting a team effort for successful RESET of FBCB2/BFT Systems - Initiate action to assemble and secure RESET Team mission equipment, repair and class IX parts. - Track status of RESET Team equipment and parts to insure delivery will meet RESET Mission timeline - Review and be familiar with Validated 1149 FBCB2/BFT Push & Sustainment equipment and assist with tracking - Participate in LBE Surveys to document status of Vehicle, IRs and IKs - Participate in unit turn-in and harvest and with testing and condition coding of FBCB2 LRUs’ - Generate & maintain property accountability and maintenance documentation - Generate, track and maintain QDR & ROD documentation - Initiate & support shipping and receiving operations - Initiate unserviceable turn-in documentation and track return shipment - Be familiar with PBUSE, STAMIS and retail supply applications and operations - Maintain records and spreadsheets documenting the status of RESET equipment installed and not installed - Gain and maintain familiarity and experience with RESET Installation & Re-Integration as needed.
Required Experience:
Must be a US Citizen, possess a SECRET security clearance or be able to obtain an Interim SECRET security clearance within 120 days of employment. Must be worldwide deployable, have a valid US Drivers License and be able to obtain a valid passport within 30 days of employment. Candidates must have as a minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent. The preferred candidates will possess a minimum of 4 years Military Experience (Logistics MOS) or a minimum of 4 years experience using Military Logistics Practices. Due to the physical nature of the program, candidates must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds at shoulder height and 60 pounds at waist height for a distance of 50 feet. Travel requirements will be up to 75% of the year and up to 100% in extreme circumstances that will include OCONUS and CONUS locations. Candidates should be computer literate and able to function using the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Candidates must qualify to rent a vehicle from various National Car Rental agencies.
