Job Description

A fantastic, full-time position has come available for aField Service Representativeto join a well-respected manufacturing organization. This position requires a very highamount of traveland covers a territory that includes the Pacific Northwest,Alaskaand a portion ofCanada. This role will operate remotely and the individual needs to be based in the Pacific Northwest(i.e. Seattle, WA, etc.) or Vancouver, BC.

Job Description

* Travel to company sites and performmachine start-up, repair and field serviceon equipment.
* Install and test machines using certified test procedures, perform preventative maintenance and emergency service at customer sites.
* Conducton-site trainingalong with communicating with the support staff on technical related issues
* Maintainfirst time fix rate of 95%for assigned region.
* Participate in the rotation of weekend on-call duties
* Responsible for timely documenting of all service related activities

All candidatesMUSThave the following experiences to qualify for consideration

* PleaseDO NOT APPLYunless you have at least5 yearsof experience as aField Service Technician
* A qualified candidate will either have experience servicing products for thefood industryor have worked withmetal detectors, checkweighers and/or X-Rayinspection equipment
* An Associates Degree in Electronic Technology, Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, a BS Degree is preferred
· Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairingelectrical and mechanicalmachine problems.
· Understanding of howconveyor systemsoperate
· Able to read schematics and electrical diagrams as well as use Electronic test equipment(Oscilloscope and Multi-meter).
· Possesssoldering techniqueswith experience soldering circuit boards and electronic components.
· Must be able to travel extensively,domestic and some international, up to 95%.
