Field Service Technician
This individual will be repairing industrial machinery such as air compressors, blowers, and vacuum/pump systems. He or she will also be performing routine service maintenance on equipment. This position will require extensive travel from Montana to the Cascades and Canada to Oregon. Some overnight travel and overtime is required. This individual will be reading blueprints and schematics, maintenance manuals, and manufacturer guidelines to complete these repairs. He or she will be troubleshooting to diagnose and perform repairs.
The most qualified candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and 3-5 years as a field technician. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience with the industry of air compressors and has an electrical background. He or she must be able to problem solve and trouble shoot and make mechanical repairs. This individual must be able to travel all over the northwest for routine maintenance calls as well as non routine maintenance calls. He or she must also have a good driving record with only 1 speeding ticket and 1 DUI in the past 4 years.
This position is a full time 90 day contract to hire position. This position has a wage of $16-$22/hr based on experience.
Required Skills: - Three to five years of industrial maintenance and field technician experience - Must have electronic controls experience - Must have excellent customer relation skills - Must be detail oriented - Must have a problem solving attitude - Must be able to work overtime and travel frequently overnight - Must have a good driving record with only 1 speeding ticket and 1 DUI in the past 4 years - Must be able to pass an extensive background check
