Title Financial Accountant Requirements - Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance - 1+ years of business experience - Ability to deal with all levels of financial and operating personnel in a multi-national organization. - Ability to work independently, develop creative solutions to problems and work effectively in a team environment - Strong technical accounting skills. - Strong technology skills, including PC and web-based applications and working knowledge/understanding of business finance platforms (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, etc.) - Demonstrate effective organizational, communication and team skills. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Function A Premier Manufacturing Company located in New York City is searching for a Financial Accountant who will be responsible for the following: Duties - Support the corporate monthly closing activities in general ledger - Performing standard journal entries in SAP & HFM - Performing account analysis on key financial statement accounts - Review of Fixed Assets - Preparing and analyzing bank reconciliations - Preparing quarterly/annual review packages for consolidation and tax groups - Preparing monthly reports for Corporate department heads - Review of trial balance - Submitting monthly data into Hyperion - All aspects of Inter-company A/R & A/P - Correspondence with inter-company contacts worldwide - Review, analyze & monitor departmental expenses.
