JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Accounts Manager has implementation and oversight responsibility for major contracts (Group Purchasing Organization / National Accounts, etc.) to include internal execution of contract terms and timelines; education of internal team members and contracted customers; compliance monitoring; dispute resolution; and direct customer interface.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the point of contact for customer onboarding, contractual questions and maintain positive relationships through contract duration; Respond to customer compliments / concerns / complaints; Monitor customer satisfaction with implementation practices - recommend / initiate process changes; Facilitate dispute resolution, ensuring timely evaluation and approval / reconciliation of variations;
Ensure compliance with terms and conditions of major contracts; Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.); Meet external reporting requirements; Ensure timely / accurate submission of administration service fees;
Maintain/manage contract and related data integrity; update / validate as scheduled or required includes membership and pricing updates; contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents;
Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy; Develop area documentation and change management procedures; Contribute to company policy development as applicable;
Ensure that content of executed contracts is communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness; Educate / clarify interpretation to support implementation; Provide guidance on contract matters to operational team, develop training / support materials as applicable;
Monitor compliance by team members with established procedures. Identify areas of recurrent pressure and work with operations / sales to develop compliance tools and solutions;
Work with Finance to ensure adherence to broader finance and risk requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing and discounting policies, export controls etc. May include evaluating differences and/or economic impact of terms and term options;
Perform or assist with any operations and/or special projects, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements; Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies;
Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines;
Perform other related duties as assigned;
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Senior Account Manager

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Highly experienced (10+ years) in Customer Service / Sales relationship development and performance tracking;
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and expertise with data base maintenance required;
Extensive special projects and/or project management experience preferred;
Experience in 3rd party billing with managed care or Medicaid preferred; Familiarity with healthcare contract maintenance preferred;
Bachelors Degree / Masters Degree beneficial;
Demonstrated organizational and effective time management skills;
Strong detail orientation and multi-task skills;
Polished verbal and written communication skills with experience in presentation preferred;
Customer focused; team oriented
